Frequently asked questions

The French network abroad at a glance

What is the AEFE network?

The AEFE, the French agency for education abroad, runs the network of accredited French schools outside France. According to the AEFE, this network includes 607 schools across 138 countries. They all follow the curriculum of the French Ministry of Education and prepare students for French qualifications (the brevet and the baccalauréat).

What is the difference between directly managed, contracted and partner schools?
